Nicole & Donald’s Intimate Trump Winery Wedding | Charlottesville, Virginia
Some love stories are memorable because of the places they take you.
Others are memorable because you have the privilege of witnessing every chapter unfold.
Nicole and Donald’s story is one I’ll always treasure because I had the honor of documenting not only their wedding day, but the beginning of their engagement journey as well.
From a winter proposal at L’Auberge Chez Francois, to their engagement session in Washington, D.C., and finally their intimate wedding celebration at Trump Winery in Charlottesville, Virginia, every season of their story has been marked by the same qualities that define their relationship: sincerity, gentleness, and an effortless connection.
Their wedding day on June 4, 2026, felt like the perfect culmination of it all.

From a Winter Proposal to a Charlottesville Wedding
When Donald proposed to Nicole on one of the coldest evenings of the winter, the atmosphere felt almost cinematic.
The glow of the lights, the crisp air, and the anticipation of the moment created an unforgettable setting at L’Auberge Chez Francois. From that evening forward, it was clear how naturally these two fit together. I loved being a part of their story.
Months later, during their engagement session in Washington, D.C., I watched that same dynamic continue to unfold. We had the best time at the Enid A Haupt Gardens exploring the magnolias (her favorite) and the Jefferson Memorial.
They share the kind of connection that feels calm and steady, the kind that allows each person to be fully themselves.
By the time their wedding day arrived, I already knew what made their relationship so special.
An Intimate Wedding at Trump Winery
Nestled among the rolling hills of Charlottesville, Trump Winery provided the perfect backdrop for Nicole and Donald’s intimate celebration with family and friends.
One of the things I love most about weddings at Trump Winery is the balance between elegance and warmth. The vineyard views, mountain scenery, historic charm, and expansive estate grounds create a setting that feels refined without ever feeling overwhelming.
For Nicole and Donald, the venue perfectly reflected the atmosphere they wanted for their wedding day: meaningful, relaxed, and centered on the people they love most.
Surrounded by their closest family members, they exchanged vows in a celebration that felt deeply personal and intentional. I could not get over how kind each family member was to me and everyone there! So much ease, it was a blessing to simply be in their presence.
A Beautiful Arrival to the Chapel
One of the most memorable moments of the day was Nicole’s arrival to the chapel alongside her father in a horse-drawn carriage.
There was something timeless about watching them make their way toward the ceremony together. It felt like a scene pulled from another era … elegant, quiet, and full of anticipation.
As a photographer, these are the moments I look for: not just beautiful details, but meaningful moments that tell the story of the day. It was so lovely!
The emotion on Nicole’s face, the pride in her father’s eyes, and the excitement waiting at the chapel all came together to create one of the most unforgettable parts of the celebration. You are going to love these images.
Celebrating with Family
After the ceremony, everyone gathered at the barn to celebrate.
The evening was filled with heartfelt conversations, laughter, and the kind of joyful atmosphere that naturally develops when a wedding is intentionally kept intimate.
Without the pace and pressure of a larger event, Nicole and Donald were able to truly soak in the experience. They spent meaningful time with every guest, shared stories, and enjoyed the gift of simply being present. It felt so relaxed and natural.
It’s one of the things I love most about intimate weddings. They create space for connection.
Every interaction feels significant. Every conversation feels unhurried.
And every moment becomes part of the story.
Sunset Portraits Among the Vineyards
As the evening light softened across the estate, we stepped away for sunset portraits overlooking the vineyards.
Golden hour at Trump Winery is always beautiful, but this evening felt particularly special.
The rolling vines stretched across the landscape, the Blue Ridge Mountains glowed in the distance, and Nicole and Donald finally had a quiet moment together to reflect on everything that had unfolded.
These portraits quickly became some of my favorites from the day.
Not because of the scenery, although it was stunning, but because of the way Nicole and Donald interacted with one another.
There was no need to manufacture emotion or direct every movement.
Their connection spoke for itself. Donald even used his bird app to listen to the day’s tunes and I loved it!
The result was imagery that feels exactly like them: genuine, peaceful, and timeless.
A Celebration Rooted in What Matters Most
Weddings often move quickly.
But Nicole and Donald’s celebration was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful wedding days aren’t necessarily the biggest ones.
They’re the ones where the couple remains focused on what matters most.
Family.
Presence.
Connection.
And the joy of beginning a new chapter together.
Every part of their wedding day reflected those values, and it was an honor to document it all.
