Brittany and Kent chose DC as the backdrop for their epic engagement session. Spending the evening with them was a joy as we explored the Lincoln Memorial and the DC War Memorial in Washington. If you’ve never considered these two monuments, be inspired! You might love what you see.
Never been to either memorial? Here are a few reasons why you might love them! The Lincoln Memorial has a natural elegance and epic feeling, whereas the DC War Memorial is intimate and romantic. You know what? There is one movie I think of when photographing at the War Memorial. Remember that scene in the Sound of Music where Rolf dances with Liesl? That is exactly what that memorial reminds me of when I photograph couples there in DC. Brittany and Kent brought that elegance and effortless romance to their engagement session. I was honored to document it all!
