Grace & Jacob
Raspberry Plain Manor Wedding | February 21, 2026
Some love stories unfold slowly.
Some feel steady from the very beginning.
Grace and Jacob’s story has always carried that steadiness.
I first photographed Jacob’s proposal at Morven Park last July, a quiet, intentional moment that reflected the depth of what they were building. Their engagement session at The National Gallery of Art followed, full of joy and anticipation. By the time February 21, 2026 arrived, this wedding felt less like a single day and more like the next chapter of something already beautifully rooted.
Their wedding at Raspberry Plain Manor in Leesburg, Virginia was romantic in the most refined sense, candlelit, floral-forward, and emotionally grounded.
Winter light filtered softly through windows as Grace stepped into her gown from Ava Laurénne. The silhouette was timeless. The material’s magnificence was stunning. Elegant. Effortless. Her beauty look by Amanda of Agape Makeup & Hair felt luminous and enhancing. Grace looked like royalty.
Florals by Petal & Bloom Studio layered blush, ivory, and soft greens into arrangements and ceiling installations that felt organic and painterly. Everything was intentional.
But what defined this day most was not aesthetic.
It was faith.
Their ceremony was reverent, deeply personal, and centered on covenant rather than performance. As the Atoka String Quartet filled the space with live music, guests leaned in, not because of spectacle, but because of meaning. Grace and Jacob’s friend, Aliyah, led everyone in one of the most beautiful songs, “What a Beautiful Name,” which made the entire space resonate with a combined chorus.
Grace and Jacob didn’t rush through their vows. They held them.
You could see it in the way Jacob paused before speaking.
In the way Grace steadied herself before responding.
In the quiet stillness that settled over the room.
This was not a production.
It was a promise.
As the evening unfolded, Terry Kaye Events orchestrated a seamless experience that felt both elevated and warm. Guests moved effortlessly from ceremony to celebration, enjoying artisan desserts from Honeybee Pastries, music by DJ Freedom Ortiz, and a lively photobooth experience from A-List Photobooths.
Golden hour at Raspberry Plain Manor offered one of those rare February gifts: soft, glowing light stretching across the grounds. We stepped outside for portraits that felt editorial yet deeply natural. Nothing forced. Nothing over-performed.
Grace and Jacob have always been playful together. He balances her. She softens him. Their dynamic is equal parts laughter and gravity.
And that is what makes their photographs feel timeless.
Not perfection.
Presence.
From proposal to engagement to wedding day, walking alongside their story has been an honor. Documenting it, sacred.
Because the most refined weddings are not the loudest.
They are the most grounded.
And this one will stay with me for a long time.
Thank you for the honor of being your photographer, Grace and Jacob. Your wedding day was a gift and encouragement to so many.

The Creative Team Behind the Day
Grace and Jacob’s wedding at Raspberry Plain Manor came together through the thoughtful collaboration of an exceptional team.
Planning and design were led by Terry Kaye Events, whose refined approach ensured the day felt cohesive from start to finish. Every transition was seamless. Every detail intentional. Her ability to balance structure with warmth allowed the celebration to unfold naturally, without ever feeling orchestrated.
The classic architecture of Raspberry Plain Manor provided a timeless foundation, while layered florals, candlelight, and soft winter textures brought intimacy to the space. Each creative partner contributed with restraint and artistry, resulting in a day that felt elevated yet deeply personal.
When a team moves in alignment, it allows couples to do what matters most: be fully present.
