Nestled amidst the rolling hills and verdant pastures of Virginia’s countryside, the venue provided a perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. We embraced the beauty of the day and evening light to the fullest!

Getting to Know Emma & Connor
As we walked around the farm, we got to chatting. It was so much fun. I was reflecting on how I’ve enjoyed getting to know Emma and Connor in the past months of planning. This night was no different!
Recently, I asked them what they looked forward to on their wedding day, and Connor said, “Seeing each other walking down the aisle and being surrounded by our closest friends and, more importantly, family to celebrate!” This made me smile so much.
Before a couple’s engagement session, one of my favorite questions to ask is, “What is your favorite thing about your future bride/groom-to-be?” This response made me melt when I read it. For Connor, he said, “her heart,” and for Emma, “how perfectly we mesh together in all aspects of life, effortlessly.”
Closing Thoughts
All too soon, the evening light had faded. As I was preparing these photos, I couldn’t agree more with the sentiments above after photographing these two at Six Pastures Farm in Winchester, Virginia. They are a beautiful fit in a way that makes me want to celebrate them more and more.
Emma and Connor, I cannot wait for next year, and all that’s to come!
