#1 – Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards
Charlottesville
Venue Capacity: Up to 200 guests
Pricing: Packages from $34,000 to $60,000, depending on date and season.
This gorgeous venue was designed by a wedding planner, and it shows! Each space melds seamlessly into the next, setting you up for a day that flows from a ceremony on their beautiful lawns overlooking the vineyard to a drinks reception in their glass-enclosed verandah, to dinner in the soaring Granary space.
The exquisite vineyard here has a big focus on delicious garden-to-table gastronomy, which makes it one of the most sought-after Virginia wedding venues. Aesthetically, the high-caliber architecture is the perfect marriage of rustic elegance – you can really do so much with the space, depending on the atmosphere you’re going for.
Another thing that makes Pippin Hill stand out among Virginia wedding venues is the all-inclusive wedding packages they offer, with a particular emphasis on providing the most amazing rentals along with the property. It’s easy to see why this vineyard has been featured in so many publications as one of Virginia’s finest wedding venues!
#2 – Great Marsh Estate
Warrenton

This glamorous Georgian mansion has every luxury at your disposal! One of the features that makes this stand out among Virginia wedding venues is that you actually have access to the historical manor – the whole first floor is at your disposal, along with incredible bridal and groom’s suites on the second floor.
Everything has been restored to an incredibly high standard, and the atmosphere is truly impeccable! If you’re dreaming of an elegant wedding at a historical venue, you’d be hard pressed to find something better.
#3 – Veritas Vineyards & Winery
Charlottesville
Venue Capacity: Up to 60 guests at The Farmhouse, up to 250 guests in the main venue
Pricing: a base rate of $31,000 – $33,000, depending on date.
This family-run vineyard has a long history of providing wonderful experiences to its guests. With stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and over 250 acres of rolling vineyard and fields, it’s a storybook place to get married!
There are plenty of beautiful spaces here, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the striking Saddleback Hall. The soaring windows and sweeping drapes are a dramatic setting for any celebration.
Veritas Vineyards also offers an alternative venue – the beautiful Farmhouse. This is a gorgeous, seven-bedroom farmhouse that can host intimate wedding weekends for up to 60 guests. Packages include a four-course dinner with wine pairings and a chef-prepared breakfast, complete with sparkling wine, for the morning.
#4 – Keswick Vineyards
Charlottesville
Venue Capacity: Up to 200 guests
Pricing: a base rate of $9,000 – $11,000
This is one of the best vineyards if you’re looking at Virginia wedding venues with a more traditional, even European-inspired aesthetic. The decadent fountain and grand white columns in the front facade set an instantly elegant tone!
A wedding package here allows you 12 full hours on the property, which is longer than many other Virginia wedding venues. Their event tent is beautiful, and there are so many options to choose from for your ceremony, from the lawn beside the grapevines to the delicate gazebo.
This is an outdoor wedding venue exclusively, and there is no access to kitchens, so that will affect your wedding plans.
#5 – The Seclusion
Lexington

This is such a special venue. It feels so secluded and protected from the world – a perfectly-designed gem. The Ivy Rose Barn is one of the most unique and striking wedding venues in Virginia! Designed to marry soft sophistication with a hint of Southern character, this all-white barn venue manages to be the perfect blank canvas while still creating its own atmosphere!
Beyond the iconic Barn itself, you’ve got the Greenhouse, a romantic space for elopements and microweddings. You’ve got the Rose Room, a romantic space with tasteful chandeliers. You’ve got beautiful bride and groom suites, and even a fire pit for your guests to enjoy in the evening. All of the Virginia wedding venues on this list are photogenic, but if I had to pick one for sheer Instagram-ability, the Ivy Rose Barn would be it!
