Leesburg Virginia – Senior Portrait Session

June 11, 2018

There are certain moments that make me fall in love with photography all over again. Like a favorite piece of music that instantly brings you back to when you first heard it. You find yourself amazed by the intelligence and beauty. This past week I met Jeremy and his family for a session that would prove to be filled with tons of these moments. I keep thinking “this is what makes me keep coming back to photography.” Getting to witness and capture the authentic, dynamic, relational, and real moments that give you a glimpse into who that person is…in that moment. It’s such a huge gift!

I have had the privilege of knowing the E family for years and every single time I see them I come away with a smile on my face. Not only from all the laughter, but from how encouraging it is to be with them. Some people just light up the world with their presence!

The smiles and laughter were already rolling as we got everything set at Red Rock Wilderness Park in Leesburg. It was one of those spring days that make you want to go running in a field or swinging on your deck. I wish I could have bottled up the beautiful air!  I couldn’t help but have a blast as I was working with Jeremy and hearing about his plans for the future: to pursue physical therapy. How cool is that? I left that night thinking wherever life takes him, he is going to do great things!

Many blessings to you Jeremy as you move on to a new chapter. Hope you enjoy these portraits as much as I do, which is a lot!
