The first time I met Kara, it was over coffee at about 2:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon. That part is totally normal for me since I meet with clients on most weekends. What’s not entirely common is when our meetings turn into two hours of glorious fun. Kara and I hit it off and instantly found so much to share. Time flew by so fast I didn’t realize we’d been there chatting away and dreaming about her wedding for two hours. Suddenly I thought to myself, “I had just met a new, awesome friend.” I couldn’t have been more excited for her and Matthew’s upcoming wedding.
The most joy-filled wedding…
I quickly realized that I was not the only one who had received such a gift in meeting this bride-to-be. Every person who toasted the bride and groom at their wedding dinner made mention of all the friends Kara has, not by dumb luck or happenstance, but because she genuinely cares about people. Kara is one of the most joy-filled people I have ever met. She loves people with her whole heart. That’s just the kind of person she is. Kind. Thoughtful. Considerate. The type of person who had every wedding vendor talking behind her back — about how excited they were to be part of her wedding. And with Matthew by her side, a strong, kind and consistent leader, I can’t begin to imagine all the ways they are going to rock and bless this world with their marriage.
Memories that will last a life time…
Kara and Matthew, your wedding at the Worship Center was an event your friends and family will never forget. Between the incredible Laura from Abide Occasions as your event coordinator and the incomparable Joy from Mini Rose Farm on florals, and the awesome Dixie and team at Fox Meadow Barn, your day couldn’t have been a better reflection of you two: fun, inviting and beautiful. Thank you for giving me and Karis the honor of being at your side as you made memories that will last a lifetime — and beyond. I hope you love looking back on them as much as I loved being there with you.
