Amanda and Tyler’s love story started almost six years before this gorgeous Fox Meadow Barn wedding. Amanda spotted Tyler in their philosophy class back in college. She moved across the room to sit next to him, and, in her words, ‘the rest is history!’
They got engaged when the pandemic was first starting, so Tyler’s plans kept getting canceled. In the end, he popped the question on the top of the Philadelphia Art Museum steps – just the right mix of romantic & memorable.
Joyful & Organic Fox Meadow Barn Wedding
For her Fox Meadow Barn wedding, Amanda knew that she wanted a loose, bohemian vibe. ‘I really love things to be not too prim and perfect,’ she said, and that guided her in choosing mix-matched bridesmaid dresses & luscious bouquets inspired by wildflowers, all in her chosen colors of rust, rose, and cream.
Their reception in the Fox Meadow Barn was warm and relaxed. They had a cookie bar for their dessert table as a nod to the Pittsburgh tradition and even encouraged their guests to take home extras. There was so much joy in the air – I particularly loved photographing the first dances, which were so special.
Laughter & Tender Moments
I think my favorite moments, though, were taking the husband & wife portraits. One of the perks of getting married at Fox Meadow Barn is the beautiful grounds you have access to. We snuck out into the field around the venue and got to laugh & play around for the portraits. Aren’t these guys just so photogenic?!
