I love love and enjoy all things romantic, so I was delighted to get the opportunity to take pictures of Lauren and Josh’s fairytale Rosemont Manor wedding. I was even more delighted because their wedding reminded me of something important.
In a world full of wedding blogs, Pinterest, and bridal magazines, it’s easy to be overwhelmed and consumed by the “prettiness” of an event. While all of that matters for various reasons, and while the details and planning matter as well, it’s important to never lose sight of the real purpose of weddings. They’re a celebration of love, and Lauren and Josh’s wedding reminded me of just that!
Planning A Beautiful Rosemont Manor Wedding
Lauren and Josh found me through our families! Lauren actually grew up near me locally. I love when this happens!
Before the wedding, we met at a coffee shop and talked about any stress points they had so we could make solutions ahead of the day. It’s SO important to me to put the couples I work with at ease. I want them to know I’ve got their photos covered and that everything will be taken care of. In the end, they really valued my help as they planned out their timeline, and I was happy to give it!
Perfect Spring Day For An Outdoor Wedding
There is something wildly romantic about a spring wedding, as it coincides with the awakening of nature, warm weather, longer days, and the bright sun’s rays shining down on us. Lauren and Josh’s decision to have a spring Rosemont Manor wedding brought all of this into their ceremony, which gave it a bright, beautiful look and vibe.
To really put a point on this, the weather brought the Rosemont Manor wedding venue to life, lighting up the green trees, grey rock faces, and lovely water that made it up.
The weather also brightened the wedding party’s already incredible style. The bridesmaids wore coral-colored dresses and loose wavy hairstyles, while the groomsmen were all in indigo tuxes, contrasting yet complementing each other. The flowers were all soft blush, with ivory and peach accents, helping further develop Lauren and Josh’s fairytale Rosemont Manor wedding.
The Plan In Action
Before Lauren and Josh’s Rosemont Manor wedding ceremony, we were able to use the beautiful lighting and rustic backdrops of the Rosemont Manor to develop some intimate couple’s photos and individual sessions too. Lauren and Josh’s shots with their backs to one another were especially romantic. You could tell how much strength these two drew from one another and how incredible their bond was.
Then it was time for the wedding! They chose to hold their ceremony on a stone terrace with a well-kept array of rocks and greenery. Everything was so simple, clearly set up to highlight the couple’s special day. Even the sun joined in, and I got a sun-flare moment through the trees!
Everything was ready for Lauren to make her walk down the aisle. If Lauren was like most girls, then she’d dreamt of this for a long time. She shared her vows with Josh, and he did the same with her. Everyone prayed over them, and they ended their beautiful ceremony in a shower of white rose petals.
Final Thoughts
I’m so thankful to Lauren, Josh, and their Rosemont Manor wedding for reminding me of what’s important. I know we all lose sight of it from time to time, but each time I come back a little stronger, a little better. That excites me because I know it means I’ll be able to produce even better photos for all the amazing people I get to work with.
I’d love for that to be you, so let me know!
