The optimist in me always shines through when I do wedding photos, especially for friends. I’ve known Allie for a long time, and I was so honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding! I remember hoping she would end up with a great partner someday, and low and behold, Alex is just that.
Their wedding was something truly special, inspired by all things classic romance. Photography was a top priority for them, and since we’d already done an engagement session, the entire day was a breeze to photograph. But what made the day even more memorable was how their family came together to celebrate this amazing couple.
Allie and Alex: A Perfect Pair
I’ve known Allie a long time, and watching her meet and fall in love with Alex has been so wonderful. They’re such a fantastic fit for one another, and their Poplar Springs Manor wedding only showcased how great they are together.
Allie and Alex wanted their Poplar Springs Manor wedding to be bright and clean, so they stuck to black and white colors. Allie wore a showstopping lace wedding gown with a beautiful train, and Alex wore a dapper black tuxedo. Together, they looked like something out of a romance movie!
The entire bridal party followed the color scheme, with the groomsmen in black tuxes and the bridesmaids in black, ankle-length cocktail dresses. It made every little detail stand out in the best way, highlighting the enchanting greenery that acted as the backdrop of their Poplar Springs Manor wedding.
A Lovely Poplar Springs Manor Wedding Ceremony And Reception
This ceremony was really unique because Allie asked her brother to perform worship, and her grandfather, who is a minister, did the ceremony itself. It was a beautiful family affair from start to finish.
Allie and Alex’s Poplar Springs Manor wedding was visually stunning, too. They said their vows in front of family and friends beneath a beautiful white pergola adorned with greenery and white roses. Then, we got a chance to explore the grounds and take some wedding photos while the guests went to the reception dinner.
Just as before, Allie and Alex were naturals in front of the camera. Allie’s gorgeous veil swirled gently around her in the breeze, making this couple even more dreamlike. After a bit of exploring, it was time to head back for this couple’s Poplar Springs Manor wedding dinner!
Family And Friends Celebrating
Allie and Alex opted for a plated wedding dinner with beautiful black and white decorations. Everyone wanted to toast the happy couple, telling stories about their amazing journey and celebrating their union.
The happy couple smiled the whole time, grateful for the celebration of their union and the support from their friends and family.
Final Thoughts on this Romantic Poplar Springs Manor Wedding
No one ever said that the journey to finding love would be easy. But fabulous couples like Allie and Alex reminded me it’s well worth the wait. After all, at the end of the day, I believe love can (and will!) conquer all.
If you have a wedding coming up, I’d love to hear about it!
