Avoid these 4 mistakes when planning your wedding photography.

Planning your wedding photography is crucial for capturing those precious moments. Here are four mistakes to avoid:

Not Researching Photographers:

Choosing a photographer solely based on price or availability without researching their style, portfolio, and reviews can lead to disappointment. Take the time to find a photographer whose style matches your vision. This is one of the biggest reasons why I love to have a video chat or coffee date to ensure we are the best fit for each other!

Ignoring the Agreement Details:

Skipping over the details can cause misunderstandings later. Ensure you understand the agreement includes specifics like the number of hours of coverage, deliverables, backup plans, and cancellation policies.

Not Considering the Lighting:

Overlooking the importance of lighting can affect the quality of your photos. Discuss the venue’s lighting conditions and consider the timing of your ceremony and reception for optimal lighting. I personally love to build sample timelines with you based on your unique sunset time.

Neglecting to Communicate:

Lack of communication can lead to misunderstandings. Clearly communicate your expectations, timeline, and any unique aspects of your wedding day well in advance.

By avoiding these common mistakes and planning ahead, you can ensure your wedding photography captures the essence and joy of your special day beautifully!
