The holiday season is a really popular time for engagement photo sessions. That’s mainly because it’s a popular time for people to propose! And I love it when I get to be a part of any couple’s story.
I heard from Lex and Alex through their friends Lena and Joe, whose wedding I photographed in 2022. They loved the work I did for Lena and Joe and asked if I’d be up for shooting their engagement photos. After connecting with them and seeing how cute they were together, how could I say no?
They wanted to have Christmas-themed engagement photos for the holidays, and we had a great idea: engagement photos at a Christmas tree farm. It was a great day, and we had so much fun exploring the grounds of the Christmas tree farm and the surrounding area.
Needless to say, Lex and Alex were all in. We found a Christmas tree farm in the area and had a fantastic time taking photos. It might have been the day after Thanksgiving, but the Christmas season was already in full swing for these two.
The Happy Couple: Lex And Alex
Lex and Alex were a dream to work with. They were so comfortable in front of the camera, and I didn’t have to coach them much at all! Watching them play for the camera was delightful and had such a sweet and cozy feeling.
After exploring the Christmas tree farm, we struck out and found another park that overlooked a beautiful creek. There were still a lot of trees with changing leaves, so the background was absolutely stunning. Plus, we managed to catch some lovely afternoon light streaming through the branches, which made everything look warm and magical for their Christmas engagement photos.
Christmas Engagement Photos In Great Falls
They were so excited to have Christmas engagement photos for the holidays, and we got a lot of wonderful shots to celebrate this cozy season. From Alex’s traditional plaid shirt to Lex’s cute forest green dress, they looked every bit the part of a Christmas card.
We also got some photos that were a bit more neutral, giving us some variety, as well as the Christmas engagement photos. Lex had a cute beige sweater, and Alex had a great shirt and slack combination. No matter what outfit they wore, they both complimented each other beautifully.
Final Thoughts
The holiday season is the perfect time to reflect on what’s important to you. Being able to spend this time with Lex and Alex was such a treat, and it reminded me that every holiday comes with an opportunity to practice gratitude.
I’m so grateful that I get to do what I love: capturing emotion-filled moments for meaningful milestones in people’s lives. And I get to do it with some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet. Here’s hoping each holiday you’re surrounded by people who make you smile like these two.
If you have a special event coming up, I’d love to hear all about it!
