Weeks ago I received a text: “Hey Rachel! So I’m proposing to my girlfriend Erin later this month. Would I be able to hire you for getting photos when I actually propose?” 🤩😍🤗 I was so excited I responded immediately and had been looking forward to the day ever since he reached out.

We emailed back and forth as I shared my tips for a perfect proposal, he chose the spot, and then the proposal day came!

Patrick planned a sweet morning and communicated with me throughout the morning so I’d be ready for the big surprise to come at Georgetown Waterfront near Washington, D.C. 🍁🥰🤍I have to say, this proposal was so seamless and meaningful! This guy knows & loves his girl so well – it’s the stuff of dreams!!! I wish you could have heard the cheers go off around them after he proposed. Well done, sir!💍 Erin was smiling ear to ear as he read a sweet letter to her and then got down on one knee. What an amazing moment! I could hardly contain myself AND I was just photographing this beautiful joy.
