Leesburg Wedding at The Barn at Willowbrook

It was an absolute JOY to be with Lian and Stephen on their wedding day this past September! They were married at the gorgeous Barn at Willowbrook in Leesburg, Virginia! The light was incredible, the portraits were insanely beautiful, and everything went as planned. The day started with sweet moments between Lian and her Mom, photographing details, getting all dolled up and more. Then it was time to get in the dress.. But there was a special surprise. Lian wasn’t the first one in a wedding dress that day. It’s not who you’d expect to be in a wedding dress, but it was sure impactful. Lian had this idea for months and Kelly (the best planner at Willowbrook) helped pull it off seamlessly.

It seems like just yesterday I was getting to know Stephen and Lian during their engagement session. If you didn’t already get to see it, here is their epic Great Falls session. I felt like I had just met the best adventure couple ever. I knew from that first phone call meeting that we’d connect no problem at all. It was so fun to explore Great Falls with them!

The entire day was such an honor to be a part of. From the moment I walked in the door to the end of the night when we said goodbye, I loved being there. I love capturing beautiful images of GORGEOUS people but really, what I loved even more was watching Lian and Stephen experience such a huge milestone in their relationship – their wedding day. I could go on and on about how much I love this family and how perfect their day was…. but I have shared WAY too many pictures in this blog post and it’s going to take you a while to scroll through them!!

Lian and Stephen, you are an incredible couple. Your love for one another and for other people was shining so brightly throughout your entire wedding day. I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be the one to save the memories of your big day!!!! Enjoy!!
