Capturing Love and History: A Summer Engagement Session in Washington DC
Happy Tuesday Friends! This special engagement session is such a treat to share with you. I hope you love it as much as I do. I got to know these two, incredible doctors throughout their season of wedding planning and more. They have such sweet families. I’ll save more about that for their wedding blog post, but for now, enjoy these enchanting images!
Step into the enchanting world of Christina and Girish as they embark on a journey of love and exploration amidst the iconic landmarks of Washington DC. In this blog post, I’ll recount the magical moments captured during their summer engagement session against the breathtaking backdrop of the Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial.
A Love Story Unfolds
Christina and Girish’s love story is one for the ages, filled with laughter, shared dreams, and unwavering support for one another. As they prepared for their engagement session, excitement filled the air, knowing that they would soon document their love against the backdrop of two of America’s most cherished monuments.
Setting the Scene
The sun-kissed marble of the Lincoln Memorial provided the perfect setting for Christina & Girish’s first chapter of their engagement session. Against this majestic backdrop, we got to know each other before their beautiful wedding in May. I love engagement session for this very reason!
Next, the couple ventured to the serene shores of the Tidal Basin, where the Jefferson Memorial awaited. As we strolled along the waterfront and in between the columns, the sun started to turn perfectly golden. It was a dream come true as a photographer to have that sun peak through the columns as Christina and Girish danced together. The golden hues of the setting sun bathed them in a warm glow, creating an ethereal aura that encapsulated the magic of the moment.
Christina and Girish’s summer engagement session in Washington DC was a celebration of love, history, and fun in elegant moments. Against the backdrop of the Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial, they embarked on a journey that will be forever etched in their hearts. I’ll be soon sharing their wedding day at The Line in DC, but for now, I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!
